Just a quick word on the next release - The Martin Creed record launch went off without a hitch this past Tuesday (March 25) at Gavin Brown's Enterprise in NYC. Thanks to all those who turned out and picked of a copy of the quickly vanishing record. The record is now available - sorry if it's a bit pricey. Keep in mind, it is limited, on white vinyl and was manufactured in the EU. You can buy it here. The first 20 copies are signed by Martin... The 3-song 7" by Martin Creed will be available on April 1. Watch this space for details. Thanks for the patience as this one has been a long time coming! Clorox Girls self-titled debut is due back in about 4 weeks. In addition, we will have copies of the limited vinyl edition of the Giant Haystacks We are Being Observed. Only 200 of these will be pressed (on clear vinyl yet!) and it is a co-release along with Mistake Records. Finally, we have the Haystacks 2nd CD, Blunt Instrument, and the re-press on the Clorox Girls Novacaine 7" available in the catalog. Go... Take a moment to watch the Clorox Girls (new line-up even) in Spain.... (02.05.07) The Clorox Girls self-titled debut will be back on vinyl in the (somewhat) near future. Keep any eye out. In case you had forgotten or are merely stupid here is another example of why the Tyrades are the best band going (please tell me they are still going).
Clorox Girls announce yet ANOTHER European campaign (2 actually). For the first trip Portland's finest will be travelling with Holy Ghost Rival. Spring/Summer '07 find Clorox Girls showing the Feelers how it's done Euro-style. Have a look here for dates.... As year-end approaches it's time to play sell-off-inventory. For now, have a look at the catalog as prices on Clorox Girls CDs have been slashed. I know I know, vinyl is better but CDs are cheaper (and in the case of the debut AVAILABLE). For what it's work (fuck all) the S/T Clorox debut will likely resurface in 2007. Now fuck off... As today is the day of the last ever gig by The Buff Medways it seems only fitting to mention that Billy Childish already has a new band! Called The Musicians of the British Empire you should also not be surprised that they've already recorded their debut LP due out on Damaged Goods. Songs on the new LP include 'Joe Strummer's Grave' and 'Punk Rock at the British Legion Hall.'
